Humming Bee Breath | Bhramari Pranayama: a breathing technique

  • Sit in prayer position with legs crossed, spine erect
  • Relax jaw and face
  • Breathe in naturally
  • Close the flaps of your ears with your index finger or thumbs (relax shoulders)
  • Exhale out a humming sound with lips gently closed like the buzzing sound of flapping wings. Concentrate on this sound within the head.
  • Focus on third eye center (Ajna)
  • Continue for several minutes and notice how your ears feel when you stop
