Tripods of Ayurveda
Ayurveda (the traditional Hindu system of medicine) considers requirements for a healthy living: food, sleep, and sex. These are regarded as the tripods or the three pillars of this vast field of natural therapy. Thus it is very much essential to follow a balanced diet with systematic food intake and a regular sleep pattern. Balanced indulgence in sex is also considered mandatory according to Ayurveda. This balance is said to promote good health and gives enrichment to the soul and the mind.

Winter savory is a flowering plant that is used as a culinary herb. Its leaves are bright green, tough and coarse. Because it is so tough, it is well suited for stews, soups, meat and bean dishes that need long periods of cooking. The flavor has been described as spicy and peppery. Winter savory is used to flavor many brands of salami on the market.
