Medicinal uses –
🌼 It is used to treat diabetes, inflammation, liver disorders, urinary disorders, menustration problems, as an aphrodisiac and as a bitter tonic.
🌼 The rhizome is considered demulcent & used for dysentery and dyspepsia.
🌼 Flowers are astringent and cardiotonic.
🌼 Seeds are used as a cooling medicine in cutaneous diseases.
