Justicia adhatoda

Justicia adhatoda; (Lotsham: Asuro) is a perennial undershrub with white inflorescence found growing wild in Sub-Himalayan tract and other regions of the country. 

Leaves and other tender parts of the plant are utilised for various medicinal preparations.

It is extensively used in the treatment of cough and other respiratory ailments. Liquid extract of the plant is used in many pharmaceutical formulation. It is also used to act as an antihistamine agent.
The plant has manifold curative properties and is an ultimate remedial measure for a lot of health anomalies like breathing trouble, cough, and cold, nasal congestion, sore throat, asthma, bronchitis, other upper respiratory tract infections, bleeding disorders, etc.
