Common names: 
Giant Dodder, 
Amar bel , 
Akashbel

Cuscutaceae, 
a parasite with slender yellow stems. 
It can be seen in some trees and bushes with yellowish creepy plant canopy covering them. 
It is widespread in temperate and tropical regions and common throughout India.
 It grows on different host plants. 
Traditionally, it used in treatment of protracted fever, diaphoretic, and as demulcent and as purgative.
