People with typhoid fever are advised to follow a diet

People with typhoid fever are advised to follow a diet that is easy to digest and can help alleviate symptoms. Semi-solid foods like:

– Barley water
– Porridge
– Rice gruel (Kanji)
– Rice porridge (khichari) cooked with ginger and lemon
are recommended. These foods are gentle on the stomach and can help replace lost fluids and electrolytes.
Additionally, drinking boiled water mixed with:
– Dry ginger powder
– Musta or Shandangadi churna (Ayurvedic herbal powders)
may help in eradicating typhoid infections from the body. Ginger has natural anti-inflammatory properties, and Musta or Shandangadi churna have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that can aid in recovery.
It’s essential to note that a healthcare professional or an Ayurvedic practitioner should be consulted for personalized dietary advice and treatment.
